As part of their capacity development projects aimed at enhancing professionalism in the entertainment and media industry, Entertainment Media and Events Promotion Association of Nigeria (EMEPAN) is having their serial free Masterclass workshop this time on the theme: Building Capacity and Imparting Due Diligence in Social Service.
The workshop’s chosen all female resource persons includes Clare Ezeakacha, a Filmmaker, Content Developer, and Child Right Advocate, and founder of Clare Cares Foundation; Precious Flora, a Nigerian Female Gaffer and founder/CEO of En-Touche Lighting House; and Mar’yam Thaoban, a multi potential poet, lawyer, public speaker, journaling coach, and business mogul, founder, and Executive Director of Noble Heart Children Foundation. The trio will share their wealth of experience and ideas with EMEPAN members.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, 29th April 2023, at the CCX Premium Bar and Event Center, located at 273 Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State, Nigeria, by 9 am WAT and presents a significant opportunity for young entrants in the sector to have one-on-one sessions with industry experts who will inspire and motivate them to exhibit professionalism while rendering their service to society.
The resource persons for the workshop are reputable and accomplished professionals who have made their mark in the industry. Their knowledge and experience are invaluable resources that young practitioners can tap into. EMEPAN’s commitment to empowering young practitioners in the entertainment industry is commendable. This workshop presents an opportunity for young people to learn from and network with industry experts, which will significantly boost their career prospects.
The Entertainment Media and Events Promoters Association of Nigeria (EMEPAN) was established in 2017 with the aim of promoting the welfare and professional development of entertainment writers, reporters, and event promoters who have been overlooked in the industry for years despite their significant contributions to the growth and glamour of the media industry, they remain the least appreciated and celebrated.
The Masterclass workshop is just one of the many concepts of the association to engineer tremendous change in the sector of entertainment media and event promotion practitioners. Event promoters, writers, and reporters play a significant role in the success of events, and their professionalism and expertise are essential to the industry’s growth and development.
