Urgent Fundraising Campaign to Support Mercy Wambui’s Cancer Treatment in India
Nairobi, Kenya – The ‘Kids Cook 254’ community, friends, and supporters come together today to rally behind Mercy Wambui, a compassionate individual who has touched countless lives through her selfless work. Diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, Mercy needs urgent medical treatment at MGM Healthcare in Chennai, India. With just two weeks left to raise approximately Kshs. 3 Million (£16,556), the Mercy Fundraising Team appeals for your generous contribution to secure her journey towards recovery.
Mercy’s relentless dedication to empowering the Kenyan youth has been nothing short of extraordinary. Her organization, ‘Kids Cook 254,’ has provided young individuals with invaluable opportunities such as training, work placements, and mentorship, opening doors to a promising future.
Through her initiative, children have been able to learn from top chefs and engage in enriching activities, including chess. Additionally, her charity work with vulnerable children in homes has brought joy and comfort to their lives, leaving a lasting impact on their well-being.
Now, it is time for us to reciprocate the support Mercy has given us. Her cancer diagnosis demands immediate medical attention, and we must ensure she receives the best care available. Your contribution, regardless of size, will make a significant difference in Mercy’s journey towards healing, allowing her to focus on her recovery without financial worries.
The urgency of this situation cannot be overstated. Mercy is scheduled for a crucial scan tomorrow to determine the stage of her cancer. Your timely contributions will enable her travel to India for treatment, scheduled for 20th August 2023.
Join our daily Facebook live sessions at 19:30 (BST) – London time, and witness firsthand how your support is making a real impact in Mercy’s life. You can make your contribution through MPESA using the Paybill number 522522, Account number 9119111, MERCY MEDICAL FUND.
Every act of kindness, no matter how small, will serve as a powerful message of solidarity. Together, we can be a united force, showing Mercy that she is not alone in this fight. Let us stand shoulder to shoulder with her, just as she has stood with us, making a difference in the lives of the Kenyan youth.
Mercy’s journey to recovery and the continuation of her life-changing work depend on our collective efforts. Your compassion, generosity, and love will make all the difference in helping Mercy overcome this challenging battle.
On behalf of the Mercy Fundraising Team, we express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has contributed and supported our cause. Your willingness to stand with Mercy in her time of need is a testament to the strength of our community.
