For the first time in a very long while, the renowned Africa Fashion Week London will be held in a place other than the Freemasons Hall that has hosted the event consecutively in recent times, the organisers disclosed this in a circular sent to all their media and publicity partners.
” We seem to be moving around quite a bit this year! After having to move from our home at Freemasons’ Hall for 2023, we thought we were going to return to Olympia West Hall, but unfortunately (or fortunately!) that also fell through. The prestigious Institute of Directors have kindly offered to home us for our 3 day event.”
“And the building is GORGEOUS inside and out! After the beauty of FMH, nothing less will do! Take a look!” The Public Relations Dept of Africa Fashion Week London communicated via email to us.
EXTERIORS, INTERIORS & STAIRCASES |
Just steps away from Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus, the stunning Georgian building has a truly unique history. Raised in 1828 on the site of the Prince of Wales’ palace, Carlton House, 116 Pall Mall was designed and built by John Nash – architect of Marble Arch, The Brighton Pavilion and Buckingham Palace. The building is Grade 1 listed which means that nothing can be changed. The dramatic flooring and magnificent chandelier gifted by George IV are original. Africa Fashion Week London – in our 13th year – is deserving of royal approval! ps…we do still have a few designer and exhibitor spaces available – register now! |
